A text component was added to Ephyrian Circle by inviting contributors to consider the issue of useful-uselessness and send their writings via e-mail. 

Their responses were astounding, thoughtful, universal, and they were the inspiration for this web site.   

Each is printed on sheer fabric, hung in a semi-circle near the ramp, and weighted by a stone (chosen in many cases by the writer.)
